Drive the latest model MR2 Spyder sports cars. The MR2’s are mid engine, rear wheel drive cars with a 1.8 litre twin cam VVTi engine. They have a sequential five-speed gearbox and weigh only 975 kilograms making them exhilarating to drive. Each person participates in a series of motor challenges designed to test their skills in acceleration, braking and handling ability while negotiating a set course. The courses are set out on a bitumen surface covering 7,000 sq/m. Each person’s time is recorded, added together, with the winner usually the smoothest and most consistent driver on the day.
