Petzl - Auto-braking descender, at home in the vertical world (caving, work at height, rescue). Features: descender with safety catch to prevent dropping. Capstans can be replaced. May be used on single kernmantel rope (UIAA dynamic or low stretch rope or static) from 9-12 mm. Tip: in restricted spaces, clip a carabiner in the hole in the handle to disable the auto brake. Advice:Warning: while descending with the Stop, braking is done with the brake hand on the free end of the rope, just as with any other descending device. The handle is not the brake and the person rappelling must be completely aware of this fact. As with any other rappelling device, its use requires care and proper training. Individually tested. CE certified. Weight: 326 g.
