Canon PowerShot SD780 IS / IXUS 100 IS Digital Camera

There's a lot to like about this camera: it's small, does HD video and the picture quality is nice. However, I returned the camera after testing it for a few hours. While its HD video quality is nice, the sound quality is unacceptable: there's constant, very noticeable noise in the background. This has been reported by many DS780 owners on the web and YouTube is full of example videos that demonstrate the background noise. In addition, I also found the menu and cursor buttons to be too small, which severely detracts from the camera's usability.

All in all, this camera is probably a reasonable choice if you value camera size over everything else and if you don't care about video sound quality.
