Pros:
Flash recovery time short, pop up flash, easy menu settings
Cons:
Lens cap needs a holder to keep in place, some aberration. (sp?), short lived battery
The Bottom Line:
Awesome camera, great price! You can't go wrong with an easy to use camera that takes spectacular pictures. Even greater for a mom or dad.

With four kids, I've always wanted the perfect camera at a price someone with four kids can afford. I found it!
It has a great zoom so when I want to sneak up on them if they're doing something cute, I can. It will snap picture after picture with pretty minimal flash recovery time. The stabilization can be life saver when you're taking pictures of moving kids without flash (i.e. outside). My pictures turned out great. Sure I still have some pictures that aren't great, but it's not the camera.
The battery doesn't last as long as I'd like it too. Their needs to be something on the camera to snap the lens cap onto after removed so it's not dangling in the pictures.
It's small, but not too small. It's actually a really great size! Outside the pictures aren't as true to color, but inside with flash is just awesome. Nothing that a little software doesn't fix perfectly thought.
I love the menu settings. I love that it's a dial, which is easier for me to understand. I like that it's not so much of an on-screen menu as my old camera was. I can change the settings quicker this way for changing environments.
The movie setting is great as well. As with any digital camera that has a movie mode I wish there was a way to lighten things up in a dim room. Also, do not like the way it downloads. I have to convert it to a version that Windows Movie Maker accepts so I can do what I want with it.
Very reasonable price for one great camera!
UPDATE -- Over the summer I've learned the art of using the lens hood it came with. I ended up with some really great pictures of the kids swimming. The printed pictures are clear as day.....literally. I've never had a camera that I truly still loved almost 1 year later, but this one is absolutely awesome. There are still some settings I haven't had time to learn yet, but with the little I've understand about settings my pictures are great!
