Sony BRAVIA KDL-40S2000E 40 in. HDTV TV

I did quite a bit of research on LCD and Plasma flat screens. When actually going out and looking at the models and evaluating their pictures I could only come to one conclusion. While the LG and Samsung's are a very attractive option at their price point, I could not bring myself to not spend the extra $200.00 for the Sony with the superior picture quality. The picture on this set is outstanding when view among the other models. Very sharp, bright and vibrant colors were the deciding factor. This set is missing some things like media card slots but frankly...if you own a PC who needs that? I wanted a set with the best picture quality, best reputation in the industry and solid support. When you really add it all up that really narrows it down to Sony, Panasonic and Toshiba. Toshiba doesn't offer anything in this size range for LCD and the Panasonic picture was not as bright and sharp as the Sony's. The setup was a breeze and I really like their menu. I was also pleased with how light the set is.
